Operating steps of magnetic heating stirrer

1. Place the magnetic stirring rod in the beaker containing the solution.

2. Place the beaker on the heating plate, and insert the sensing element.

3. Turn on the power supply, adjust the heating speed, and start stirring.

4. During stirring, turn the speed knob slowly; if the speed knob is turned rapidly, the stirring rotor may be released from the magnetic force of magnetic steel, and jump constantly. It is required to turn off the knob rapidly, and when the stirring rotor is static, increase the speed slowly for stirring; the speed shall be quickened gradually and stably. Normally, the liquid with high viscosity at room temperature has a low thermal conductivity (such as epoxy resin) so such liquid shall not be heated up rapidly during heating and stirring, in order to prevent the container from breakage. The thermostat shall be fully used to raise the temperature gradually, and the sensing element shall be inserted into the additional water jacket.

5. To measure the temperature in the container, the temperature knob can be turned slowly to lower the red temperature indicator, i.e. the temperature indicated by the red indicator represents the temperature of the liquid in which the measuring element is inserted.

Warranty and precautions of magnetic heating stirrer

1. The magnetic heating stirrer must be grounded reliability to ensure the safety of equipment and personnel.

2. The liquid dropping onto the surface aluminum panel of heating plate may corrode the plate surface or emit heat and gas, affecting the electric heating element and motor so it is necessary to turn off the power supply and remove the liquid immediately.

3.
